Okay, this is really minor but Chris has put a ticket for the sailor moon musical up on Ebay for 15 dollars. Surprising since there's an alamo draft house in virgina and chris seems to love this shit.

Anyways, stupid theory time. He bought two tickets hoping that Megan would want to get back together with him and join him for a romantic evening at the musical. She said no, and now he's got an extra ticket that he's looking to sell.

 

-nod- I was thinking the same thing, actually. If he had only one ticket he would have just used it himself and gone to see this musical for 6 year old girls.

My first thought was that he somehow mistakenly bought a ticket to an out of state theater and was trying to make a few bucks back on it. But no, the ticket is for a theater in Virgina.

 

The estimated delivery is the 20th for a show that’s on the 17th.

It looks like he'll just send a digital link or something in a PM once someone buys the ticket. I wonder if he'll send the physical ticket as well. A signed ticket and a movie might actually be worth $15.

When I've bought a movie ticket in the past and couldn't make it to the showing, I just exchanged the ticket for credit with the theatre. Can you not do that with this theatre, or does Chris just want the money he paid and won't accept anything less?

 

But will Chris get his Sailor Moon tapes back?

 

I wouldn't doubt Chris is that greedy not to accept credit for a future screening at said theater.

 

Kind of a shame because Infinity War is coming out pretty soon.

 

I bet, though maybe that type of theater isn't to Chris' liking (I haven't been to an Alamo Drafthouse personally, but it seems more a dining/bar experience than simply going to the movies).

 

My guess is that Chris thought he had purchased a ticket to see a live show rather than a live show being simulcast to a movie theater.

If that were the case, then why would he claim that the reason he's selling his ticket is because he wants to see the same show at a different theatre?

Unless he's lying, but we all know that he's always true and honest.

 

Chris is now selling 17 PS2 games on Facebook marketplace.

I more surprised there was an Aeon Flux game, though I suppose that's based on the crappy movie.

 

One based on the cartoon might’ve been pretty badass. I wonder if Chris misread it as “Aeon Fux” and thought it was a dating sim.

 

I thought it goes without saying that Chris has some pretty bad taste in video games.
