But back to the subject at hand, has anyone figured out what a coinkie-dink strafe is? I understand that coinkie-dink is slang for "coincidence", and strafing is generally used to refer to firing an automatic weapon while running to the side, but I'm still trying to piece together how these two are done at the same time.

 

It occurs to me that there should be a cwcki article on Chris's "flavour of the week" words and phrases

My interpretation is one of those moments when the buffoon of the story suddenly pulling off a sweep of a room through their own buffoonery. For example, they would basically be spraying and praying while coincidentally dodging the spray of bullets from their enemies, all while yelling out in fear. So, basically, you just accidentally shot some girl whilst jumping through the air and screaming. At least, that's what I think it is.

 

So by that logic, according ro chris, while the girl is bleeding out you start asking for her name and phone number?

 

Yeah. I mean, isn't that how you do it in your country?

 

No, you dial 911 here. If it is just a flesh wound then you start laying out the pick up lines.

Pretty much. You could lay your game down on a woman in America after your run sideways shooting stuff and nobody would think anything of it. A spray-and-pray happens every 6-8 weeks here, so we're kind of numb to it.
