Seems like the only sane one so far is Reggie.

 

The first point makes no sense. How would thinking "I WILL COMMIT A CRIME" distract security that can read minds? If anything, that would send security to high alert and I am thinking much more about this than Chris did.

Two, Chris is referencing a game mechanic in Pokemon because he expects everyone who reads the comic to be fully familiar with it already. He's also unaware of the difference between real-world paralysis and the Paralyze status condition.

 

Lol I didn't even think about that. Magi-Chan really dropped the ball on his constant psychic surveillance, probably too busy screening potential gays.

 

He certainly forgot about Magi-chan and his psychic force he never told us before.

Truly a mess!

 

To be fair, I think that most of the people reading Sonichu know at least a little bit about Pokemon and the game mechanics in the game. Paralysis is in every game, and it's a safe bet that most people have played at least one game and have had a Pokemon afflicted by the status. So, it isn't much of a stretch for him to assume that people reading the comic will understand how paralysis works in the game.

 

Iirc, in Sonichu 10, Chris tells us Magi-chan is continually scanning the populace for crimes, gayness and crimes against straightness

 

Pretty much became the Stasi of the town.

 

Would you expect anything less of the esteemed mayor?
