FB 6/4 - Sonichu 11 pages on Patreon (update 6/20 - Preview with Magi-Chan)

These comics are way too wordy (and autistic) for my liking. I guess not speaking until age 8 gives you the impression other people speak in rambling, nonsensical monologues.

 

Well it's still shit but wow turning Simonchu into a "tragic" character...

Also why mention the Asperpedia Four again? Does Chris still bitch and moan over them?

 

Didn't he "retcon" their ultimate fates after people called him out for the way they were punished? Basically saying that Chris was no better then the trolls?

 

Time for bullet points

• My "DStecks donation countdown pages" are done. Those pages were bought and paid for, these pages are not free. Also, since DStecks Internet career has nose-dived post Sonichu I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a return.
• Chris seems to be villaifying the mentally disabled, surely this will go over well with the SJW crowd.
• Simonchu being forced to think "kill Simonla" raises questions. Nobody in the villainous Asperpedia 4 had mind reading powers. There was no way they could meaningfully enforce this thought training. Simonchu could've just thought about baseball and said, "Oh yeah, Kill Simonla Kill Simonla."
• Simonchu wants to revive a fossil while he's in Virginia. Why? Why can't he do it in WV? What if Simonla didn't invite him over, would he have not revived the fossil. How does he revive things anyway? Is that his power, does Simonla have that power?
• Simonla is a really shitty person. She must know her husband and daughter are hostile towards her brother, so she invites him over...without telling them. Not even a "Hey, my brother isn't as evil as you think and I want to repair my relationship with him so I'm inviting him over." Just invite your brother into the lions den and have your family think it's a surprise attack. That'll go over well, bitch.
• So Simonchu gives his geological discovery to Wild, who regifts it like the trashy chu he is. Regifts it, and tells the guy who worked really hard on it he's going to regift it. (EDIT: nevermind, Wild asked for it, which is still a little trashy.)
• Pronouns are important. Wild says he's giving "him" the Razor Claw. Clearly he means Reginald, so he gives it to Angelica. But Angelica is trashy too, and wraps up the gift from Wild to pass off as her own gift to her boyfriend, because she apparently got him nothing.
• Reginald made cookies for her which might seem cheap, but remember that they started dating shortly after spring break 2008, which puts their relationship in December 2008 at 8-10 months at best. Small things are pretty common for couples who've been together for less than a year, especially if it's something that shows you know that person well (like getting what you know are their favorite cookies.) So Reginald gets a pass in my book.
• Calling it now, Simonchu ruined Angelica and Punchy's relationships. Clearly an evolved Reginald (bonus like for whoever informes me what that even is.) is gonna wreck house bed. And Simonchu is probably gonna revive the bananasauros thing that makes Lalya split.

 

Just putting this out there, the people that I know actually do speak in rambling, nonsensical monologues. Heck, a lot of comics I read have characters regularly delivering lengthy monologues, so I can kind of see why he includes them in his comic.

Oh, and an evolved Sneasel is a Weaville.

That is still a drop in the bucket to what he actually needs though. chris really needs to step up his art game.
