    Did anyone ever tell Layla that her trainer died when she stupidly got into an elevator during a crisis situation instead of losing the stairs, and she wound up getting asphyxiated by the cables while BILLY MAYS tried in vain to rescue her? Wait, no, Chris retconned that part.

    I'm aware Magi-Chan has super surveillance powers and I'm aware Chris is a hack writer but this is a straight-up asspull (unless this has been established earlier and I've forgotten about it). There's not even any sort of tension about whether Graduon survived the events of book 10 (his fate was pretty vague iirc) or what he's up to if he did. It's just thrown in that he's fine and Magi-Chan has basically defeated him before he has even done anything.

    Sonichu is now a slice-of-life manga instead of the shoenen battle epic that it was back in the glory days. Fuck you, Chris. The action scenes were some of my favorite bits. I guess that means more confusing dialogue, more useless one-off characters and more boring shit. I want OP asspull fights and goofy quips god damn it.

    This is it. We've wanted more Sonichu since 2011 and when we get it, it's total garbage without the lovable "charm" of the original run. I guess it really is true that one should be careful what they wish for...

    I do think it still has the "charm", some old Sonichu issues are boring as hell.
    He's hell-bent (as much as Chris can be said be hell-bent on anything) on making slgbtw a thing, isn't he?

    Okay, once again people, Chris is making a Pokemon reference he expects you to know.

    He's talking about Mega Stones. Each Pokemon that can Mega Evolve has to hold a Mega Stone specific to their species. The Mega Stones are always called (PART OF POKEMON'S NAME)ite.

    No, those were regular evolutions. Chris decided that Ultra Sonichu and Face Rapechu were mega evolutions.
