    Stardust Self-proclaimed Ween

    I never saw sausage party?
    How bad is it??

  2. Mouseberger

Mouseberger Ground Lolcow on White Bread

Most of my favorite YouTube cartoon spergs claim it is one of the best movies of the year. Take that either way.

    ToroidalBoat ¿qué?

It looks like it's really popular among Mormons for some reason.

    A few from the vault:

Kiss My Grits - 1982 hicksploitation "comedy" titled after a (now all-but-forgotten) catch phrase from a sitcom. A study in mediocrity.

The Yin and the Yang of Mr. Go - Unbelievably bad 1970 semi-porn comedy rip-off of "Dr. No." Unbearable on all levels.

Seven Sixgunners - 1987 western train wreck. What happens when a bunch of old west re-enactors try to make a movie.

Monster A Go-Go. It's somehow confusing and boring at the same time. I've never been able to sit through it, and watching it just makes me uncomfortable with how much of my life I'm wasting.

first of all how dare you

I would add something like the Godfather movies or Citizen Kane here, but I haven't watched them to have informed opinions on them. All I know is that they would bore me out of my autistic skull if I watched them, or maybe get me angry in the case of the Godfather.

Sounds like me and Blade Runner or 2001 then. I don't hate them at all, but I find them boring.

The Blair Witch Project. Saw that in theater, was constantly checking my watch because of just how boring it was.

The sequel is absolutely horrible. It's boring, makes no sense, and has almost nothing to do with the first one.

I thought it was pretty good, until it started awkwardly shoe-horning in references to the first one. I think it would have been better if it was it's own thing, rather than a sequel to an influential movie that wouldn't be regarded as highly as it is if it didn't come out at the right time.

Which sequel are you talking about? I kinda liked the one that came out last year.

It's a good movie with quite a few flaws. I loved it when I first saw it (except for the ending, which sucked) then I watched it again and I didn't like it nearly as much. I think it's basically a novelty movie, and once the novelty factor is gone it's a very shallow movie with a stupid plot and zero self-awareness. People will use the "It's a stoner movie" to justify it's failings (which I did, admittedly) but I don't believe that. Up In Smoke still holds up as a classic years later, Beavis And Butthead Do America is a movie which I consider to be arguably the best movie based on a cartoon series. They're both stoner movies, and they're both awesome when not stoned.

Blair Witch: Book of Shadows, not the one that came out last year

Book of Shadows was the films first sequel and completely ignored the found footage style of the first one. Ultimately it has little to do with Blair Witch and there is no mention of any book of shadows.

I never saw that one actually. I knew I would hate it, so I never bothered to watch it.

Uncle Frank Occasionally slips through the cracks

The War of The Worlds (the 2005 Tom Cruise one). It just felt so bland and dull. The 1953 version, despite being '50s as fuck actually gave me nightmares as a kid. Plus we actually get to see things happening like scientists trying to make a bio-weapon and the army fighting the Martians rather than a grey-filtered Tom Cruise running away from boat horns and looking serious. Hell, the 1988 TV series was better.

I actually really like the '53 one, mostly because it's so '50's. It's like a good version of the bad '50's sci-fi.

Another one from left field: I actually DVRed the movie The Way We Were off TCM once because I love that song so much... but it's the most snore-tacular film I've ever seen (and this is coming from someone who usually likes Barbra Streisand's acting. Heck, I even liked her A Star is Born.) One of very few movies I've started and never finished. Song's still awesome though.

    caffeinated_wench do you is fucking

    Minions.
So mind-numbingly stupid and lacking any real focus or plot, I felt years being taken off of my life. Seriously, it dragged on and on with no end in sight. All of those Facebook memes are just a painful reminder of the time I'll never get back.

Yes, it's targeted at children, but saying it's a kids' movie is an insult to kids. That and I have no sense of self-preservation when it comes to bad things.

I don't really watch films or any kind of television, but Grown Ups 2 is the worst film I have seen. Toilet humour and dick jokes are the only thing I can remember. My friend hyped it up to be hilarious and it really wasn't.

Maybe there are worse ones out there but I haven't seen them yet. Again, not a film person.

I had to sit through that with my family... they all love it but I could not agree with you more. I feel disproportionate anger towards minions as a whole.
