2006 may be long over, but people still seem to make poops in the style of that year's attempts, whether ironically or (in rare cases nowadays) unironically. Here's an ironic example.

I know these can get pretty dumb and juvenile, yet at the same time some of them are real genius in the amount of work that goes into them, the amount of dialogue and little stories that can be made up with just a few snippets of voice and animation.

 

I used to watch Tom Servo's YTP but it looks like he's deleted his channels.
I saw a goofy Sonic Sez one about Hell but I haven't found it again.

First one I added to my favorites list.


Of course the ones that really stick with me aren't the ones that quote memes or even the ones that tell stories as much as the competent YTPMVs.


Incompetent YTPMVs are even more boring than incompetent storytelling and meme spam ones are. It's a much sharper divide between the really funny and really lame ones.

 

The ones where the "humor" is just repeating the same segments over and over aren't funny.

"Mah boi. Mah boi. Mah boi." [magic carpet flies in over and over] "Your majesty. Your. Your. Your. Your..."

 

This one's a so-bad-it's-good classic.

"Gee, it sure is boring around here!"

"Mah boi, this- OIGH... gotanewcomputer~"

"Yeah! Great! [IN SQUEAKY TEENAGE VOICE] "I can't wait to use it!"

 

The Spongebob Poops are my personal faves.

This is one of those I'd always run into, roll my eyes at and then just go back while watching QuibbyJibby, SwichFilmsinc and other good classic CDi YTPers.
