    I still haven't seen the entire original anime. The filler in the first season was so bad that I said "fuck it" and read the manga instead.

    I seem to remember Kenshiro gets pretty broken near the end of the series. Still, this was the first show that I saw with gratuitous violence... at the fine age of three because my dad was kind of bad at hiding VHS tapes.
