I just saw this movie last night, and walking out was one of the movie experiences I love. It was the experience of walking out of a packed theatre after watching a terrible movie, and everybody wants to talk about how bad it was and why it was bad with their friends and with strangers. So as I was walking to the exit I started chatting with a group of older people (early-thirties it seemed like) about the flaws in the movie and how we regretted seeing it. The main flaw in the movie is that it's too long. About halfway through I started hoping that it would be over soon, which isn't a good sign. It also uses what I'm going to call an 'incest twist' that I've been noticing quite a bit in horror movies lately, particularly psychological horror movies. The problem with this twist, and every other twist in the movie, is that it was telegraphed long before it was revealed, and the twists aren't particularly shocking or clever. What do you guys think?
