If Chris doesn't die first then yes. I think it's safe to say Sonichu ended when he finished the Christmas episode. Fuck, Chris barely even draws anymore. He's got to the point where he just thinks the stories now.

 

I think Chris is too lazy and depressed to start drawing again, and we all need to remember that CWCville is a real place and that Sonichu and friends are all having lots of fun and adventures that we don't get to see, the comics were just one medium for those adventures. I bet If you asked Chris about it, he could probably give you hours of content recounting what Sonichu has been up to since Chris stopped drawing the comics.

Tl:dr.. as you said Chris is continuing his life of using our tax money paying for video games he won't play, amassing old toys, and enjoying his fantasy of being an online internet superstar personality. Sadly I think his links to Cwcville were destroyed in the fire and we'll never see it again, because the Timevoid was destroyed.

 

I hope not, but probably.

 

(Warning: Sarcasm Ahead) With all the responsibilities, stress, distractions and lack of extra tugboat. Chris will keep wallowimg in selfpity and retreating into his own little world. Only to leave occasionaly to digest sustanace and yammer on about whatever has his attention at the moment.

Hell someone send him a pack of Crayola Markers and a fan pice of a naked Rosechu. Maybe that will start some activity.

 

This makes me wonder what the logical conclusion to all of this will be. Will Chris get so lazy that walking between his work room and bedroom will be considered "stressful"? Will he find playing with Lego to be "stressful"? Will he get to the point where even thinking will be "stressful"? Chris, being Chris, works in absolutes so maybe he'll just end up practically comatose because basic motor functions or even brain activity will be to much effort.

Chris could set up a legit ebay business just selling his father's stamps. He is sitting on a ebay dream: potentially hundreds, if not thousands, of easy to list, easy to sell, and easy to ship stamps. His current stamp business could be very lucrative.

The problem with his current ebay strategy is that most of his stamps are overpriced and most are overwhelmingly not selling. Most of his current listings are over $10, but he has only sold one stamp over $10. In other words, he has no idea what he is doing.

I, personally, am waiting for him to sell off Bob's record collection. He apparently had a good jazz collection, which may or may not include early race recordings. As a record collector I would bid on some of those records.

 

Did the record collection survive the fire?

 

Speaking of collections, remember back when CWC would don "The Classic" and had the vidya collection carefully curated? On each shelf there was a banner reading, "Christian Weston Chandler's Video Games" with crude drawings of what seems to be Sonichu and Sonic -- kind of like what a kid in elementary school would do.

 

All i know is that Bob had access to some pretty good stuff when he did the Jazz marathon in 1990.

But shipping shellac records is like shipping delicate plates, so I doubt chris would ever list them.

 

Oh, I bet he'd ship them alright. He's shipped fragile junk to customers before.

Chris probably posted that do a classified site. He has done weird shit like that all over the years. So I wouldn't put it aside him not doing that.

If Chris considers UVA to be his alma mata. Would he still be able to attend on open studies and build up his credits to qualify for a 2 year program to finish his BA? This way he could claim his superiority to us all by saying he indeed does have A's and a 4.00 GPA. Which is easy to do as a part time student especially if they live at home pay 300 rent and get a Tugboat... Do it Chris finish it off.

 

He already considers himself overqualified for every job there is, so this would just be overkill.
