I might read some crochet related cozy mysteries while I crochet. I wonder how accurate they will be and whether or not the author is a crocheter

I've been reading an audiobook Cozy Mystery called Hooked on Murder where the leader of the crochet group that makes stuff for charity got murdered and it is up to the middle aged book store lady who lets the group stay at her bookstore to help the police find out who it is all while this one detective who knits being suspicious of her. She eventually learns how to crochet and joins the group along with her boy-crazy friend.

I also notice there are a lot of paranormal cozy mysteries about witches on Audible that look pretty cool

I have a few books on my TBR
I've been rereading Louis L'Amour "Education of a Wandering Man" - he was a frontier and Wild West author and was a hobo (traveling working man) and a merchant marine in the early 20th century
he read a lot when he wasn't working

Redshirts, the Star Trek parody I'm reading - they've revealed a spoiler and it's a :story:

they find out their ship is following a "Narrative" - they're stuck in a cycle where the events of a Star Trek imitator from 2012 (when the book was written) are happening on the ship
that's why the senior officers never die and the nobody replacements always get killed
    ha ha, what a story

I got into the genre of paranormal cozy mysteries about witches

I did look at the Audible catalogue of cozy mysteries available for free with subscription and apparently there is a series of corgi themed mysteries as well as pitbull themed mysteries, but I feel like that it will just be pitbull propaganda so I don't know if I should read them. Then again, it could be so bad its good and I have had books and otome games that were like that, that amused me

I read Me, and Earl, and the Dying Girl over the weekend, which was hilarious (it's about a high school kid who tries to cheer up a classmate who is dying of leukemia)
and I read the rest of a Louis L'Amour Western (the ring of boxing, LOL)
I borrowed a L'Amour book called The Walking Drum - which takes place in Medieval Europe instead of the Wild West
I like his books because it's a mix of nonfiction and storytelling

I miss it when there wasn't 60 main characters and Ferrus Manus was a relevant character

Starting on a book called Knitted and Knifed. I am about fifteen minutes in and it is interesting enough. It is apparently written by a New Zealand author and it takes place in New Zealand obviously. The narrators accent is pleasant.

    It's like 40 something books.

It's been a fun read so far. I'll have to read the rest.

Which Sando books do you recommend? I have the Mistborn trilogy, and the WoT novels he helped write.
