I know you nerds watch and read this stuff, so you might as well sperg about it here. Since the show and the book are pretty much caught up as far as I'm aware, there shouldn't be much opportunity for spoilers either.

I, for one, am disappointed that the resurrection spell from the hot spooky chick worked because this would've been a fun direction to go in with Jon Snow:

Also, Ramsay Bolton is a dick. But to be fair, his dad had it coming. And it was his mother-in-law's own fault for following the crazy bastard into the dog pens.

I haven't watched season 6 because It's ahead of the books and I don't want spoilers in case the books take the same direction. Of they're different when/if the sixth book comes out I'll give it a watch.

If movies and television have taught me anything, it's that the best way to train a blind person to become a ninja is to just beat them relentlessly with a stick until they haemorrhage martial arts.

Being a trainer of blind people does sound like a lot of fun if you put it that way.

RIP Ramsay Bolton. At least you were slightly less evil than Michael Bolton.

I stopped watching the series after they killed off stannis when he's still alive in the books.
Is season 6 any good or have anything in common with the books?

They could have done that death better tbh. With levels of sadism that high, you know he's getting off to pain. They should have more realistically ended it with him going "HHNNNNNNGGGG!!!!" as he was torn to pieces.

Season 6 is good IMO, I think it's the best they've done since the first couple seasons. As to whether or not it has anything in common with the books, no one but the creators know for sure because they've outpaced the books and are ostensibly on to the Winds of Winter part of the plot. They probably don't have a ton in common, though.

Worth it if you want to see some of the assholes get their comeuppance. No idea how it stacks up against the books.

I've been binge watching the series recently, and so far I am up to the second episode of season three. I'm really enjoying this series.
