7/13/16: Chris Is Selling Some Pokemon Crap On ebay

I read about this contest when I was a little kid. The Birthday Pikachu card was a prize for this contest Nintendo made. The gimmick is that it gets a power boost on your birthday. I also read that it's not usable in competition, so the only people who would buy it are the collector nerds that pay way too much on collectable card games. Chris should have jacked the price up more, those people will pay anything for a rare card.

I'm sure you will all be shocked to find out that you can get that same card for cheaper from other sellers on ebay.

 

I am both impressed and disgusted someone is willing to give Chris $300 to "troll" him.

 

Eh, I'll believe it's a troll when there's some definite proof. For all we know this could just be some idiot who spends too much on children's card games.

 

I have a hunch that the spergs giving Chris money are the same kind people who bitch when someone donates to a Kickstarter they don't like.

 

This is actually pretty shrewd on Chris' part. Since the launch of GO, old Pokemon cards have risen a lot in value.

I wish I hadn't thrown all of mine away years ago, I had a mint first edition Charizard that's apparently worth over £1000 now...

 

FTFY. I had a hell of a time getting anything for all of my old cards. Most people just want to pick out the few good ones. I hope that if Chris has some of them, he tries to sell the shitty ones for inflated prices
