I imagine this is how Chris's mind works.

 

You know, its possible. Its possible there is a universe full of rainbows, magic, and unicorns. I'm sure if those magic horses met chris, they'd start trolling him too.

 

This is not surprising considering he believes that CWC-ville is an actual place and his Sonichu abominations exist in some other plane of reality currently beyond his physical reach.

 

Gotta hide from that mean, ol' reality, amirite?

No, see, he actually thinks that all fictional characters exist on a separate plane of reality. He got the idea from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and it's a big part of the reason Alec was able to screw with his head so badly.

See, he thought that if ANYONE wrote a story about a character, the character would be compelled to act it out. So an author killing a character off, to Chris, is like compelling a living creature to kill itself. So naturally, he lost his shit when Alec killed Angelica/Punchy/Wild because NOW he needed to think of a way to explain how the three hadn't REALLY been killed in the toon world.

That's the entire reason for the Asperchu segment in Sonichu 10--Chris was trying to fight fire with fire and assumed that if he killed Metal Asperchu in HIS comic and wrote Alec's characters insulting him repeatedly, Alec would somehow have to account for this in Asperchu. The idea of "canon" was lost on him until a MLP blog explained it to him. He now thinks that there's a "prime dimension" where his characters only act out stories he writes and that any fanfiction is merely an alternate universe.

This falls under "you can't prove it wrong so it must be true."

 

Chris is now going into Equestria Goth territory

 

I hope one day Chris realizes that by opening up the possibility of the multiverse, he's also opening things up to unspeakable horrors and evil. Just like there could be a universe where his characters exist, there could also be a universe where the Daleks are about to jump to another universe to conquer. Or a universe where The Flood consumed everything and are about to go through the wormhole to find more food. Or a universe that's basically one Cthulhu-esque organism. Alternate universes open things up to every possibility, and I mean every possibility, so closing your mind to the bad ones is not just retarded, it's dangerous. (Believe me, I know...)

 

This reminds me of when I was 7 and thought the Ninja Turtles were living in the sewer outside my house.

 

Or a universe where reality is ruled by an all powerful triangular overloard wearing a stove top hat and bow tie. You never know. After all, reality is an illusion and the universe is a hologram! Buy gold! BYE!

 

And that's just going over what's actually *in* the universes. What's even out there in the vast In-Between?
