Is it like Breath of the Wild where it's this vast empty wilderness and stuff is always breaking?

No console manufacturer wants to be known as "The console that has porn" I thought that was common sense

 

Visual novels with full-on sex scenes have ALWAYS had said scenes removed from their console releases, this isn't a recent development this has happened for decades and it also isn't a localization thing, even the Japanese versions of those games remove that stuff. While adult only ratings exist for every region's equivalent of ESRB, the ratings have only even been used on packaging for niche PC titles(Not always for sex, a lot of people seem to not know that the rating can also be obtained via stuff like violence or disturbing imagery that is too much for even the M rating as well) because console makers seem to have a universal unsaid agreement that they don't want to allow anything rated Z, AO, or any other 18+ equivalent game on their system

 

I mean, there are a lot of games that take advantage of the Switch being region free that have Japan releases, but also have English translations built in to avoid further censorship since the Japanese rating system is a little more lenient compared to other countries. There is also Asian-English releases that are similar as a concept. This game in question did that where it was a Japanese release, but with an English version built in.

yeah, they always have. People always get really angry if you take away their porn. I've just never seen women getting upset over it.

 

But is it still the mostly empty post-apocalyptic thing going like in BoTW?

If they make yet another Zelda game in future, it should be like Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, Link to the Past, etc. In other words, not the empty thing going on in BoTW.

 

I dunno about the dungeons but the bosses are different creatures this time instead of mini-ganons

nice, I played this many years ago and thought it was good

 

maybe I'll get that Mario RPG remake when it comes out

(a SNES version of it may not be able to save data anymore because battery for memory out)

 

you could also play the original on an emulator or on the wii/wii u (which is what I did)
