FB 9/28 - Sonichu and Rosechu Surnames

...Was this a question people had?

 

It's possible someone (Mr. Ween, of Weensville, WE, perhaps) asked Chris this because they thought it'd be funny, but it's equally possible Chris felt the need to address it without being asked because he thinks Sonichu and Rosechu are real and as such require correct nomenclature.

So he still didn’t answer the question, not in any way us non-autistics can comprehend.
Here’s what I think he never thought out since he just mashed 2 things together: pikachus are a type of Pokémon but Sonic the hedgehog is one of a kind. So since Sonic exists in the cwc universe, shouldn’t Sonichu just be called Hedgechu or Pikahog?

 

This is what chris does all day. Sit around and play matchmater with imaginary characters.

When Chris boasts of "Sonichu, Rosechu, and the city of CWCville, Virginia" being the greatest accomplishment in his life, he's not kidding around -- he believes they actually came into existence in some other dimension.

So of course something like the electric rodent surnames would be SERIOUS BUSINESS to CWC.

 

Okay let's put the delusion and autism aside for a second... I know, I know! But indulge me.

Basically, what Chris just described is how names fucking originated.

The end result of his process is that everyone has a surname to distinguish which broad lineage they belong to, and then has a first name to give them an individual label so they can be referred to specifically. I will grant you not every culture follows this pattern and modern names are kind of a clusterfuck because they're so far removed from their original contexts now they're basically meaningless except as a useful social convention, but this was the original idea in a lot of cultures.

You know, people can get stuck inside fictional worlds, especially ones they make up themselves. It's kind of understandable; most of us feel powerless in our day to day lives and I sincerely believe that most people have either a vision of the world as it is or as it could be or both that's essentially unique to them. There are authors who make up entire languages and plausible ecosystems to build these worlds.

I could find my way to overlooking something like this as a harmless bit of mental mass debating (which it is), except he puts all this damn effort into something that's not at all original, clever or reflective of years of generating these fantasies.

I have to give Chris credit sometimes. Sonichu is such a steaming turd, but he proudly plants his Autism flag firmly in the wettest, hottest, smelliest most corn kernel riddled part of that turd.

 

Maybe, but it can still lead to great and imaginative works, like Lord of the Rings.

Financial limitations are not currently obstructing the path to something Chris wants right now, so he's not complaining about it.

 

But Jamsta and Lolisa are the oldest electric hedgehog Pokémon.
