    While it's not surprising Chris would like something that seems to have an all-female cast, it is surprising that he's getting into something that Japanese. Usually he likes fairly Western (or Westernized) stuff.

    If by "weeb" you mean "anime fan," then yeah.

    But if you mean the actual definition -- fanatical devotion to an idealized Japan -- then no, I don't think Chris is weeb.

    Chris definitely doesn't do the big weeb stereotypes like injecting "Japanglish" into everything he says or thinking Japan is the best country ever.

    Chris is more of a... whatever you call a weeaboo of British.

    No one is shocked chris likes anime chicks based on gaming systems. I'd only be shocked if his favorite of the bunch was the Xbox girl.

    Someone at GameStop once described it to me as an allegory of the game industry fighting against "video game piracy." The main villain is named after the R4 memory card.
