Breath of the Wild

Of all the game series to be worried about, Zelda is probably at the bottom of the list. Every game in the series is someones favourite(even Zelda 2) and overall the whole series is pretty solid. The only Zelda games I have not played are Four Sword Adventures and TriForce Heroes, so I can't comment on what they are like.

 

I wanted to play Tri Force Heroes but I heard the single player is terrible and I'm not huge into multiplayer games, at least not games like that. I sure can get lost in a good MMO though.

I'm playing through Wind Waker right now for the first time and it's such a great game! I can't imagine Breath of the Wild disappointing me after Wind Waker being so awesome.

That said, Skyward Sword would have been one of my favorite Zeldas if it weren't for that Wiimote gameplay. That was so not fun, and made the boss battles almost impossible. But BOTW ditched the wiimote so I'm sure it's going to be so much better.

 

You shouldn't have to fight the enemies of Hyrule and the goddamn controls.

 

It's all good, there was no Hyrule in SS.

The first thing I'm gonna do is set some fields on fire, cuz that's how Link rolls.

 

The first thing that I will try to do is try to climb to the highest point that I can and see how far I can see.

Careful not to fall off, I hear Link writhes in pain before you get a game over.

I started Wind Waker for the first time. No idea why it took me so long, I'm having such a great time.

Are most people getting the Switch version? I am and I was wondering if I should also get the Pro Controller too. As if March wasn't expensive enough already

 

Getting this for the Wii U.

 

I was actually wondering this myself. It's a really expensive controller but I don't know how comfy those little controllers on that port thing is going to be.

I figured I'd try them out and see.

 

Good idea, I will try the Joy-cons first and see how they feel.

 

Here's hoping that the Switch accessories will be easy enough to find if we need them. I know how limited Nintendo's stuff likes to be.

Which is why I preordered all of the BoTW amiibos. I expect them to be very sold out.

 

I had only planned to get a few of the BotW amiibo, but I broke down and pre-ordered all of them. The only accessory I have pre-ordered with the console is the charging grip for the joy-cons.

 

Ooooh, the charging grip is a really good idea. Honestly I figured the one that comes with the console was a charging one, but can't say I'm surprised.

And boy am I excited for those amiibo. They are definitely the best looking ones I've seen.
