I guess that $1500 didn't last long.

 

That's actually the weens fault. He's basically learned that if he keeps putting up something for sale at whatever price he wants, eventually someone is going to buy it. I mean, look at the totem. Someone offered $1000 as a joke, then withdrew the offer, then Chris posted it for sale for an inflated price and someone bought it.

Both him, and the weens, defy logical sense sometimes.

 

I love how the desperation slowly sets in and by the end of the video Chris is rattled just talking about the payments they have to make. You know, the ones they could have taken care of with the totem money.

It's kind of fascinating to see how little Chris comprehends their situation other than Barb screaming at him that "shit's fucked". He simply can't grasp the idea that the mortgage payments should come first and toys (at most) second. It's almost like he doesn't know what happens to the money once he gets it. That all the toy purchases are done in some kind of daze and then he just wakes up in a sea of new Transformers with little to no idea how they go there.

My theory is that it's the tangible vs. intangible. Mortgages exist on paper while toys and gold necklaces are objects that he can hold in his hands. His mind can comprehend a gold necklace, but he doesn't grasp what the hell a mortgage is. So he makes the purchase that his brain sees as more meaningful rather than the actual priority here.

If I didn't know about Chris and someone told me of the various CWC antics, I might've thought CWC was some kind of cartoon character.

 

It's funny his "man" (real) voice was so girly but you can see he struggles to sound the way (he thinks) a woman is supposed to sound.

 

I showed a friend of mine a bunch of Chris' videos, and he was convinced that Chris was an Andy Kaufman inspired performance artist. "No one can be that derpy and so blissfully unaware of life...."

Oh, but they can, they can...

 

He's gotten WAY more persistent at not dropping his falsetto voice halfway through his videos, I'll give him that.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if the trade is at the port, one tugboat to another.

 

My guess is that it is because he has just seen the Sonic Totem sell for a large sum of money, literally (in his mind) because he made it.
I don't think he reads deeply enough into the forums and Cwcki to make the distinction between what we would consider an 'Artifact of Fail' and any old tat with some of his scrawling on it.

Giving Chris lego money is not trolling in any sense of the word at all. Fuck weens.

 

Not exactly, I'm not defending the actions of weens, but they do seem to upset people when they give Chris money. Say what you will, but every time Chris receives money and/or somebody buys something he has sold for an inflated price, threads pop-up, people get mad, and some people start angrily demanding that the person who gave Chris the money come forth to be publicly shamed.

So, in a way, giving Chris money could be considered to be trolling, just not trolling Chris.

 

And when we get right down to it, what's more satisfying: getting a rise out of an autistic crybaby or getting a rise out of intelligent people who know what's going on?
