Now that the funny comment regarding old Chris is gone let's break some stuff down.

- Chris once again proves that she can't articulate thoughts without the use of cartoons, Trump is not as rich as Scrooge McDuck because Scrooge isn't real.
-Chris mentioned Bob, and let's be honest, Bob would be OK with keeping the "fags" out of the military.
-Also, Bob served with no homos because it was illegal to be gay in the US military until 1993.

 

I think the entire sitation sums up pretty easy in a sentence, even if it is a little ignorant.
"I can't die fighting for a guy I already hate to begin with, so I hate him even more."

 

Firstly, Chris cannot into Geography. Secondly, I doubt there were many open LGBTQ12345 people serving in the fucking 1950s.

 

Yeah, Bob was in the army right after WWII (1946-48 IIRC) and if anyone was LGBT in the military back then, they'd either get kicked out or given a blanket party (they throw a blanket over you so you can't see and beat you up).

Not only that but Bob discouraged Chris's transgender antics before his death so I very much doubt he would have accepted any of that sort of LTBTBBQ stuff back during the Korean war. Selective memory or ghost dad chats again.

 

This is a good time to remind everyone that Chris thinks that Korea, at one point, was literally called Seoul Korea and that it was changed to North and South Korea after the war.

Also, Bob never fought in any wars. He was stationed in Seoul after WWII ended and left before the Korean War started up.

 

Since Chris isn't a true and honest trans person and only pretends to be in hopes of getting laid maybe he can join the military in protest...oh wait, 4F.

 

I hope that story comes soon, either way. Trump would make a great villain in the story of this man's "struggles".

 

I know he might be mentally unsound, but would he really be 4F? I've heard of fatties worse than chris going into the armed forces. Besides, the military can always use cannon fodder.

 

Yeah physically they can whip anyone into shape. I think the 'tism and being slow in the mind would classify him as 4F. Along with general mental instability. I'd love to see him in boot camp though.

 

Trump is just an indirect troll

 

To be fair, if a transgender person has the desire to fight and die for their country I feel they should get the chance to become heroes. I do agree that Trump is being an idiot by banning transgender people from enlisting.

 

As much as I'd love to see Chris in boot camp, it's not happening. If he walked into a recruiting center and tried to join up, the recruiters would try to get him out of there as fast as possible. The Red Cross didn't even want his blood, the military definitely wouldn't want him

Also, Chris doesn't want a job - he won't even send out applications for simple entry level jobs, there's no way he'd join the military, and they're not bringing back the draft.

 

I agree with you to an extent, but I only diverge from your opinion thanks to the kinds of people that would quit when the drill sergeant starts getting mean with them. Of course, that isn't just transgendered people, so that's an entirely different problem entirely. I would also agree with anyone that backs this ruling up on the grounds of trying to say "Screw your pronouns!" I dunno, it seems like something that has a bit more nuance to it than I'm picking up on, so whatever.

 

In the end, I think the decision is about cost. Financial, effectiveness, morale, and support for all would have too high of a cost. The surgery, therapy and meds needed to go through the process to pass as the opposite sex would cost the same to train a fighter pilot.

There's also that in times of war even diabetics will be barred from serving as riflemen because meds can't be guaranteed. Hormone treatment alone will be a ridiculous luxury in war time.
