This is an artist/client relationship. This means Doopie has to follow his requirements for the drawing to make sure he is satisfied. As a result, Doopie is following orders which means she is unintentionally enabling chris

The conversation between him and the DMV people would be amusing to say the least

 

I too, would like to dive into the defense against "Doopie is an enabler." We call Barb, Anna, and DStecks enablers, and Doopie is not in their league.
Doopie is an artist working for hire. As any commission-funded artist knows, the costumer is always right, always beautiful, and always perfect. The people asking for pictures of themselves and people who can see their physical flaws are usually not one in the same.
Like, I'm not sure what Doopie had to do to not be called an enabler. Chris pays her pretty alright money per month, and paid more for this picture.
If Doopie drew Chris fat, balding, aging, with a five o'clock, double chin and giant zits Chris would lose it, probably call Doopie a troll, and could possibly demand a refund and pull hir support of Doopie, all things an artist living off commission and donations doesn't need or want.
You can be annoyed that Chris is giving money to Doopie as s/he and hir mother both whither in hunger and poverty, but that's not Doopie's fault.

 

While I do get annoyed at Chris's stupidity with money, the consequences of that stupidity provide me with a sense of schadenfreude or more euphemistically a sense that justice/karma is being done

 

After my last trip to the DMV to get a permit, I would sell tickets to see chris go up against an over worked, underpaied state employee who gives no shits when the stupid walks through the door.

 

now that I think of it, any tantrum he throws might him kicked out, if not arrested for disorderly conduct

 

Just give some of the profits to that DMV worker, and record in painful detail what happens

 

He replaced his youtube icon as well. Thank god.
