but classic chris is gone forever and will never be back.

Dobbo's pretty lazy as an artist. I mean he just traced a new head on Romney for that one comic he "made" to critique Trump. Plus this is the guy who finds making a single drawing a month an ordeal.

I think for me the most frustrating thing about Dobson is that he totally could have been a moderately successful artist if he had put in the effort and not drank the social justice kool aide and turned into Angry Tweet Bear. If you look far enough back on his DA, there's some art where you can see he was enjoying himself when making it. Even the derivitave stuff still has it's charm. I found some pretty nice life drawing sketches he did back in 2011.

What stands out to me in the description is that he's taking note of what he needs to improve on. Where did this Dobson go?

 

I think it's just much more gratifying to sit back and pretend you're being a cool social justice dude rather than actually do art, makes him feel like he's contributing to something, and it gives him a reason to feel persecuted.
