    Watching this is entertaining for the first few times is entertaining, but then it just becomes repetitive as barely anything interesting happens. They're all the same. and I hate to be a moralfag but I also find goading these men in to doing something wrong even though might have never had any intention of doing so and then outing them on national TV just terrible

    As a TCAP expert, I have to butt in.

    They knew what they were doing. They were looking for and contacting who they believed to be kids. They still chose to have sexually explicit chats. Many of them still chose to send pictures. They still chose to have phone calls with the decoy. They still showed up to see a minor after all of that, often bringing gifts and alcohol. They all knew what they were doing.

    You can tell he's doing better financially after a decade of asking people to have a seat over there by the ever ballooning waistline he's sporting.

    I hesitate to say I have a favorite when the topic is what it is in this thread, but I do appreciate the sickos who are just self-aware enough to keep their mouth shut when they're entrapped and don't discuss the chat logs or admit they're at the sting location for any reason and just walk out silently to be taken roughly into custody.

    At the end of the show you'll see their names with a notation that no charges were filled, unlike the pedophiles who want to talk about how they're there to fuck kids. Fuckin' fifth amendments, how do they work?!?

    EDIT: Hate doubleposting, so I'm just going to add this in, as well. I absolutely love the TCaP series, and I actually take in a lot of content from the attendant community. I used to listen to Nathaniel Trevor's meticulous analyses incessantly, and I still am a really big fan of BasedShaman and High Priestess Ember. So, I'm surprised I never have posted here before.

    That would be John kennelly, and he was one of the earlier busts. Then there was Kevin Westerbeck, who was already out on bail, facing charges for child molestation. Another guy came who was on probation/parole for a similar offence and even drove outside the limits he was allowed to travel...You know, cause he couldn't go to bars anymore, man.

    So many times, this. Despite the numerous qualms I have regarding the ethics of the methods used in these stings and the actual motivations of those involved in the investigations, I still hardly see how, morally speaking at least, this exonerates these men from blame. They, all adults who more or less are in command of their basic faculties, are all informed of the age of the person they are chatting with, often multiple times. No blackmail was, to my knowledge, ever used to entice the men to come over to the sting house. There were no threats ever used. The only thing these men ever stood to actually lose by not showing up was the chance to have sexual relations with a minor.
