Considering this is a Sonichu fan site on its most fundamental level, this should not be surprising.

My thing is I don't have a preferred race outside of not playing the furfag races for whatever reason. If you twisted my arm, I'd probably say Imperial, Nord, or Orc since I'm boring in that regard.

Speaking of a common character I do; my first runs inevitably become Bowmen runs, often with the schtick of me imagining them as being blind. Bit of a pun, Blind Bowman, blind run. Speaking of bows; Skyrim did bows awesome.

^ i always ended up going for a greeeedy sneak thief that used ranged weapons and could run away and hide when things got hard. every single time. he'd be an asshole that'd give a begger some clean water, go get you your groceries, take care of that giant bug problem for you, and then rob you blind when you looked the other way.

always loved wood elves for that reason. too bad they can't see in the dark, then they'd be perfect for me.

also it's too bad there's not much underwater stuff in oblivion or skyrim. or in fallout, for that matter. if there were some really sweet ass old ruins down there, it'd give you an incentive to be a lizard person.

it could be interesting if there were more specialized regions in the game where different races would have really different strengths. pitch black caverns for cat people, sunken atlantis stuff for lizard people, jungles for wood elves, maybe whatever harsh rocky environments for orcs, and i suppose most elves and humans would handle usual overworld stuff perfectly.

I like heavily armored guys who don't wear helmets, long blades and axes, healing magic, and fiery explosion of death magic. The more readily character creation and advancement rules let me build this character, the more I like the game's character customization.

I'm boring and picked a Nord. Her name is Boudicca and like me she's a pissed-off looking lady with a mohawk. She uses a greatsword mainly but sometimes will double wield axes for double the fuck you. She will soon be married to her dear companion Ghorbash the Iron Hand.
    Also she collects troll skulls.

My first Skyrim character was a stealth nord that used two-handed weapons of all things. It was fun sneaking through high-level dungeons wearing a dress and decapitating enemies with a war hammer. I've played god knows how many characters in Skyrim though, including Cicero, the annoying jester from the Dark Brotherhood questline, and Jesus.

I really want to give Morrowind and Oblivion a go, but the cameras in those games give me motion sickness and I can't figure out how to adjust it. I guess I'll just wait for the Skywind and Skyblivion projects to be finished eventually.
