Every time he tries to talk in Spanish, my inner polyglot bangs his head against a wall.

No, the reason he (and many others) read up on political events later is so they don´t have to undergo the ardous task of (gasp!) thinking for themselves. Rather, they can have it easily explained to them by a wonderful institution such as Buzzfeed, in a way that soothes their confimation bias and fuels their belief that Trump is nothing less than the Antichrist.

 

At times I'd really like to remind Chris lots of "dang dirty republicans" hate Trump, just to watch his head spin.
