So, I noticed if Lasagna Cat is a topic of discussion, it would seem to me that good videos are as acceptable to discuss as bad ones.

There's a lot, but I figured I'd show some personal favorites from my usual suspects:

Explaining the concept of how one infinity is bigger than another is always hard, and I'd never thought to put it quite this way so although it's older, this is one of my favorite videos.

This one just makes me laugh.

How to commit murder. Against Batman.

The 10,000 Domino Computer. That's crazy, these people are nuts!

    Parabolas setting things on fire!

Cheating a little bit here, but it uses mathematics based concepts to explain what first past the post voting is and why it's not necessary the best method; it starts off pretty simple but as the series of videos goes on you get into discussions of optimal distributions. I like this one though for its simplicity and showing why two party systems happen.

Probably seriously dating myself here, but back when I was a kid, my parents kept me of a steady diet of PBS and MTV (back when they actually had educational shows and music videos, respectively). One of the shows I actually remember quite fondly was Square One.

A good chunk of them can be found on YouTube but most look like they were transferred from old VHS tapes because the quality is potato. I doubt they'll ever release a DVD version of the show because a lot of the content is horrifically 80s. Just watching the intro will probably make you want to snort crack cocaine until Nancy Reagan and Max Headroom appear before you and show you where they buried Alf.

Anyway, enjoy the edumacationalisms... prime numbers and fractions and shit.

    Numberphile is pretty based.
Being both a math and history geek this is my favorite, he's got a few others related to it one on just Turing's exploit and system needed to do so.

Man Pi day was pretty dissappointing, though I liked StandUpMaths calculating pi with random dice rolls.

+25 Dork points if you watch him do all the die rolls and check his work. (Seriously who does that? Seriously how can I be on the internet this long and still ask questions like this?)
