Kuso: "The Grossest Movie Ever Made"

Seems like the same sort of idea as Hatred. Intentionally gross stuff is usually garbage.

 

Anything with Tim Heidecker is bound to be awful. Tim & Eric are part of why Adult Swim sucks so much these days (The Toonami revival being the exception).

 

It's just a low-budget slasher/splatter film, would be nice if these pseudo-critics just admitted that's what it is, instead of trying to pretend it's "high art" - it's about as much "high art" as Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, and there's nothing "wrong" with that, because everyone enjoys a mindless horror film from time-to-time, so just admit that's what it is instead of pretending it's "art" when it's a film literally named after poop.

 

I read that it's used as a slang word basically meaning "grindhouse film" or "B-movie", or something along those lines - basically a film like one of the many Friday the 13th or Saw sequels which basically knows it's bad, but is just meant to be morbidly entertaining.
