    Brief Background For Newbies

    Having started on president Trump's inauguration day, Shia Labeouf began hosting a continuous livestream event in New York City featuring a public outdoor mounted webcam near the Museum of the Moving Image. Labeouf's intent is to rally support from those opposed to Trump and host an open platform for himself and others to voice their opinions, having started off featuring Labeouf's chant of the project name 'He Will Not Divide Us'. Labeouf intends on having the stream continue for four years and frequently stays on cameras during daylight hours (as of day 4). The Twitter hashtag associated with the event is #HWNDU.

    Why It's Media Worth Discussing

    With the livestream being openly accessible to anyone, the stream has attracted those in alignment with Labeouf's own sentiment as well as those with opposing views and people simply looking to grab screentime. All of these groups have increasingly upped their game in terms of community collaboration and being all in all just pretty damn weird both with and without political twists. People have begun documenting dozens of highlight moments from the stream and I'd like to open the floor right away for sharing such rather than tossing a a list here.

    Just to give an idea though for anyone that hasn't had a chance to see any clips at all, here's one of my favorite moments yet featuring the destruction of a tendie with some REEEEEEEE-:

    Some Thread Guidelines

    Almost anything goes but we'd like to avoid digging into discussion of any individual's identities. Meaning, while pointing out notable folks on the stream let's keep things narrowed in on their livestream efforts without bringing up personally identifiable info. Likewise I'm sorry to say no sending chicken tendies to the stream, if you do want to self insert yourself by interacting with the stream I think its best we keep discussion and planning of such outside of our site.

    Judging by how this has gone so far, I'm going to bet this doesn't last a month before it gets pulled down, let alone four years. I have a feeling nobody responsible for this anticipated people wanting to fuck with them.

    Well...I just saw Shia get arrested by police during tonight's stream. Apparently he hit the Paul-Blart lookin' dude but it more so looked like he just rustled his hat.

    It's flipping disgusting; Jaden Smith is at it too. This is just the safe space of Los Angeles and Hollywood acting out. Celebrities who participated in this crap are literally worth millions and could care less about the real American issues.
