    The worldview Chris subscribes to is a very primitive one (filtered through pop culture). Chris seems to believe the clouds are literally home to godlike beings. Chris believes in magic and engages in magical thinking. I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks smartphones work because of pony spirits animating them or something.

    It's projection filtered through CWC's pony-addled brain. Chris isn't exactly creative, so he thinks others must not be creative either.
