FB 4/4 - Whining about mortgage company

If Barb is -$800 in the red, I expect she will try and get $801 from Chris, which is unfortunate because as his tugboat comes in at the start of the month, she probably got it and that means we can expect the begging saga to gear up again.

 

Barb is Chris' biggest troll/enemy

 

Bob left them a sum in the tens of thousands. Barb blew it all on Rob Bell. I'm not sure if she thought she could win the case or if she just wanted to deny Snyder access to it out of spite.

That money probably would have helped with the house fire repair bills.

 

Goddamn, why in the holy fuck would anybody do that? Did she not realize how bad the housing market is?

 

Once the stamp collection sells for $1000 minus $800 for the mortgage payment that will leave 200 bones for Skylanders toys and My Little Ponies. I think the math is in Chris's favor on this one.

 

Barb needed to pay for the post-fire repairs.

State Farm wanted to bulldoze the house, sell the property, and use the money to set the Chandlers up somewhere nearby.

 

Barb knows she doesn't have much time left and doesn't give a shit about what happens to Chris after she dies. She's also a vindictive idiot bogged down by a lifetime of untreated mental illness. So she's basically decided that, for the rest of her life, no one's going to tell her what the fuck she needs to do and the hoard must grow regardless of cost.

Wow, I thought Bob had left them with very little. Everytime I learn something about Barb, I feel a grain of sympathy of Chris. I say this honestly and not as a joke, but Barb would have been kinder to Chris if she had aborted him. That would have been a step up as a parent than what she's done for him his whole life.

 

As hard as this is to say, of the two of them I this CWC has more sense financially than Barb. He seems to grasp the concept of paying his bills, etc. I guess it'll be straight to a group home after Barb dies. Maybe he'll be able to float the household expenses. I kind of doubt that though.

 

What happens to Chris after Barb dies depends on whether or not she causes him to lose the house.

If Chris keeps 14BC, Chris will mourn for a few weeks and complain about how lonely he feels. However, he'll also get his old freedom back due to there being nobody controlling him, something that's been a huge factor in his post-Bob depression, so he might end up with a net gain.

If he loses 14BC then the Homeless Saga will begin.
