If this were Kiwi Farms I'd be hard pressed to choose between rating this Optimistic and Autistic. I don't believe this technology to actually be...possible. Like at all.

Besides which, "life" as a robot sounds pretty miserable.

"Should I have my brain uploaded into the windup mouse or the vibrating dildo? Decisions decisions."

Yeah, it was a joke. I imagine on Kiwi Farms the users would have pounced on me and given me a ton of autistic or dumb ratings for that.

Also, I'd totally be the dildo.

I am inclined to agree and it is a foolish use of resources

Oh, if Bob had made it to 2015 Chris would have likely coped with it better.

Bob's death hit Chris hard because Chris honest to GodBear thought that Bob would live. At the hospital, Chris wasn't thinking "Please God let him pull through", he was thinking "*sigh* It's not 2015 yet, he'll be fine".

Had Bob lived past 9/6/2011, Chris would have grown increasingly anxious as 2015 loomed closer, but due to this anxiety he'd have had a chance to acclimate to the idea of Bob's death instead of the emotional sucker punch he got instead.
From what I remember, Chris was generally distraught and coped with it about as well as someone his mental age could. I recall hearing that a field agent went to the funeral and heard Chris read a poem he's written for the occasion.

Chris thinking Bob could possibly come back is news to me though. He's been referencing dead people as having "new lives", meaning he's either figuratively referring to an afterlife or he thinks that somewhere out in the world is a four or five year old kid that was his father in a past life.

Are... Are you saying Chris didn't know what death was until he was 20+? Jesus Christ, i mean i know he's not the brightest bulb in the house he lives in but really Chris? That's actually quite a disturbing thought, especially when you think of how many people he's killed in his comics, does he think in his mind that if they were real (his comics) they would simply not die or come back from death? I swear i learn something new everyday about chris, and i don't know if that's a good thing or a terrifying thing.

Remember, when he heard Billy Mays died he wrote "Come back soon" on the in-comic obituary and he was in his early 20s when he drew a crying Sonichu on the receipt for Patti's euthanization, then made her a character in his comic.

Why it bothers him so much to kill off Simonla, given this attitude towards death, is baffling.
