In Chris's mind gods and cartoon characters are pretty similar.

I'm surprised CWC hasn't made himself an outright Tulpa from the ground-up (for hanky panky).

 

Later on in history when people said they were talking to gods, nature spirits, or whatever was popular at the time, people were burned alive, locked up in squalor, or given copious ammounts of drugs.

Does anyone else here see chris mirroring that pattern?

Or he could just draw over the tail in the original comic, with Photoshop if it burned lol.

I mean he clearly does the same exact thing whenever he misdraws a hand lol. Half his people have just redrawn arms and fingers half the time lol

 

It's weird he doesn't just do it digitally and just forget needing to draw anything new again. The woman behind "Sylvia" pretty much does her comic strip using cut 'n paste templates!

 

I was asking myself this the other day. A good drawing tablet isn't cheap but it's not like Chris is a stranger to frivolous spending and honestly this is the ONE purchase he could make that I would argue is an investment.
Spend a few days drawing some faces/characters/settings and he could shit out a whole comic every day if he wanted. The only thing holding him back would be how quickly he writes and occasionally drawing something new.

It blows my mind that he insists on drawing the same misshapen hedgehogs on paper when he's had access to a computer for decades.

 

Just didn't have the right atmosphere, consoling and perhaps a teacher that needed to do whatever fuck to get him to hold a pen straight!

 

His Super Turbo Autism Deluxe just won't allow that to happen.

 

Now that's a game title!

But still Chris is god emperor, it's not like he hasn't rewritten most of Pokemon Canon. Chris could say like pikas raised near a the sonichu totem have their tail dimorphism stunted in the womb by pure autistic radiation or something.

 

part of me thinks it may be a good idea for someone to try and tell chris that him ripping off rosechu's story is more trouble than it's worth or try to alter the canon of that story to his tastes. Chris is too goddamn stubborn which is why the other part of me scoffs at that idea. We are supposed to observe him as opposed to interact which I understand and I am against the wannabe troll trying to milk him of "new" content but it seems there may be opportunities where maybe a little motivation from an outside force may be good. But that is just my opinion even though I am more comfortable watching him than trying to reason with him.

 

The problem that comes with interacting with Chris is that it's so unpredictable. There's no guarantee he even sees a twitter or facebook message, there's also no guarantee he won't take what you've said to the nth degree (like with the Idea Guy). Chris is not rational.

Strangely from what I've heard he responds best to texts. But it goes without saying that this level of communication is far too personal, even if you're trying to help him.
If he's left alone long enough I imagine he'll self correct. Besides, the comic was more about him than it ever was about the hedgehogs, it doesn't really matter what he does to Rosechu.

 

I can imagine the things Hirtes would say if he started texting Chris. He'd keep using new numbers.

 

Eh, people intervene to do semi nice stuff on the regular, Chris usually doesn't listen though lol. I really don't know where he's going with the whole copying rosechus story thing, he's sorta explicitly a bad guy in that comic lol. I know he's in contact with trickie though. He might just be trying to keep the patreons from leaving rather than trying to change the comic or something out of an earnest devotion.

I think the mimicry just serves the purpose of being lazy at the moment

 

Except Chris thinks he is a terrific traditional artist, just like he's an amazing singer. And we know his FANTASTIC Photoshop Skills
