FB 10/9 - Complimenting Megan Schroeder

Maybe we'll get a new bit of kindergarten art for Megan in chris's attempt to woo her.

 

inb4 Chris makes a pony Megan OC and pesters her to see it.

I'm honestly scared how possible this could be.

 

I joke about Chris doing his standard autistic stuff but I doubt anything will happen. Remember when he tagged her in a Facebook post last year (I think it was last year)? Nothing came of that. And the two are so separated at this point that I doubt Chris will really amass any effort to do anything. Plus Jessica is on his back.

I'd say this is just a side effect from his viewing of the MLP movie. As we've seen from Bornycon, Chris gets on a positivity high (or whatever his autistic equivalent is) and starts talking about friendship and forgiveness because that's what the cartoon horses babbled on about. He'll find a reason to retreat into his autistic shell again and complain about stupid shit soon enough.

We won't be getting ShecameforCWC 2.0.

 

Isn't this whole Nightstar thing kind of SheCameForCWC 2.0? I mean, the whole interaction online that Chris does with his own MLP OC seems like he's finger-banging himself in a sense.

Looks like Chris’s post was deleted. Wonder if it was him or Megan who took it down.

 

From the looks of it, JQ has downgraded Chris to the level of "I still want to be friends with you, but us being an item is *not* going to happen, sorry..."

 

Chris' artistic styles seem to stagnate for decades while Megan decided to get out of drawing sanic/sailormoon fanart to making serious and impeccable felt knitting works. I'd say good on her.

 

Don't forget she also has a photography thing going (judging by her etsy page)

 

And chris doesn't want young female 'friends.' Its china or gtfo.

 

Also kinda feel bad for Megan that Chris can mash together a cardboard papier mache Sonichu totem and sell it for $1.5k, while Megan had to individually craft each and every of her felt animals to a standard. At least her effort justifies the pricing.

 

I think it’s more of a general sympathy to artists than just Megan. Not every artist has Chris’s, dare I say, privilege to spend an hour on a shitty drawing and make a weeks worth of food money off it, like with those commissions.

 

They can at least take solace in that Chris's art is a total dancing bear. I.e. the miracle isn't that Chris draws well its that he draws at all.

There are other Artist making shit piles of money off of shitty art. Take Snapesnogger, she has a very hard time drawing noses on even cartoon art yet has legions of followers willing to pay for commissions because she draws porn of Severus Snape and half snake people. Tolstoy has more than one work with the subject of popular art vs truly good art.

but anyway, no one is under the illusion that Chris draws or writes well. They just buy his stuff because its from Chris.

 

Has anyone claimed buyers remorse yet?
