I'm too drunk to play cryptologist right now, but I'm pretty good at it. It doesn't break well to alpha numeric, and sober I'll report to telephone to back. Also to troll chris as these posts clearly are, I can't see a complex code. So I'm guessing telephone base (1x3 ratio ie 1abc)

 

Numbers appear to be chris's kryptonite.

It's pretty simple, and can branch two ways, for example, 1 can be ABC like on an old telephone, that leaving either a pre set code or rough understanding of contents, or luck or time to figure or, you reuse the number to sign the next letter for example 11 is B.

For the first deviation, often it's left when you have rough understanding of what the message is, for example, I'm sending a coded message of the weather. I want to say, it's hot. You know it's weather related. I'd send, 468. Now it could be a few things as each number has 3 letters attached, but you know it's weather so the letters H O T are in the mix in that order so tada. Clearly as it gets longer it gets more complex but it's trial and error pretty easy to crack, so it's fine for a lot of simple coding.

Now, in regards to what's posted every group is 4 letters/numbers. One space. My first thought, is it's just a prank with no meaning for two reasons, one it's trolling Chris so why put effort into it? Two, the breaks are meant to be ignored this can happen with some codes, an extra layer of fuck you to people trying to break it. If it's a rather simple code it's a great way to add in another layer of protection. As the person reading it with a decode guide only has to plug what's what and figure breaks it would be same as reading " thelaz ybrown dog" You can figure what that is pretty easy.

I've been kinda dicking with it as I sip my coffee, but I'm not making much sense of it, again I'm not 100% sure it's real even but I have a few thoughts if it is.

 

I hope those codes, if they are codes at all, are just Hirtes -level insults at Chris.

 

I ran it through a ASCII translator for the fun of it (after separ ating each four digit into two) and i got garbage.

I kinda second that. To me, this just seems like a case of a bad attempt at weening that's gained traction because Chris responded to it, and is making it obvious that he is getting upset by it.

Now, I feel like more weens will join in, in an attempt to drive Chris up a wall.

 

I can't figure shit, and I refuse to think Hirtes can out smart any of us, or that brick I have sitting in the corner of my work room. I'm leaning to it's all to troll Chris.

 

If this means anything, we're going to need to try running it through another cipher, I think.
