Chris Reads "Unicorns, Rainbows, and a Bluebird of Happiness"

Chapter 1 and 2 were boring because he had very little enthusiasm to read the story. 3 and 4, when he was more relaxed and invested in the story was where we got some rare moments of fun. In one video (I can't remember which) he starts singing about Rum and Coke for some reason, which I thought was kind of funny, and also one of the few times where he comes across as closer to the adorable side of low-functioning autistic over the creepier side. It's a very short section, but I would recommend watching it.

The voices were also kind of funny in a way. I actually got a bit of a grandma feeling from his readings. To me, these readings felt like a glimpse into the life of Chris that is rarely seen, and even more rarely seen as the result of a trolling attempt. An eccentric man, completely relaxed and reading a story that he has no interest in at first, then gradually gets more invested in the story and more animated and relaxed as a result. The reason why I liked the Rum and Coke song as much as I do, and why I like telling people about it, is because it's a simple genuinely random display of happiness by a very depressed man. For a few seconds he was happy and singing a childish song, and it was kind of nice.

I think this series is more interesting for the fallout it caused between Waterman and Chris than the actual content. Its fun to imagine Waterman freaking out at potentially losing his only claim to fame.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Chris made that video where he said that the story was stupid and that he hated William for getting him to read it. That was kind of a cool twist to the brief saga.
