Again, cons have thousands of attendees. They'd literally have to sell passes years in advance in order to do all the background checks you're suggesting.
For example, take a con like PAX Prime. In 2011, they had 70,000 attendees. After 2011, they stopped tracking attendance numbers because so many people were attending. Now imagine doing background checks on each and every individual who bought a badge. Do you think it'd be possible to do over 70,000 background checks in the 5-6 months before the event?

If you're that scared of people, then you shouldn't leave the house at all.

I don't know a lot about cons, but I assume they're like a sporting event or multi day festival where almost anyone can come in - there are likely tens of thousands of people at the bigger cons, and thousands of people at smaller cons
they might be able to do background checks on some staff members, but not on run of the mill attendees (just like a sports stadium can't do background checks on everyone who buys a ticket)
and of course there's security - and if anyone gets too wild security can apprehend them and turn them over to local police

I'm assuming a pre-emptive ban would be reactive - security knows some people that aren't welcome and if they catch them they escort the person out
Chris is loud enough and visible enough cons know he's coming and tell him he's not welcome

In hindsight, what I posted was really dumb and not really well thought out, because I really don't know anything about cons in general.
Also I'm not scared of people, I just suck at wording.
    I'm a very dumb 20 year old.

I ask because background checks are generally something only done for employment. I'm glad to know you're not a minor.

If one has to resort to that to get views, then maybe it's time to end a show?

I'm guessing people who run cons know from word of mouth that they need to look out for the CWC.
