It's been exciting to watch the Bayonetta fandom grow over the course of these past few years as the series has gotten more attention/praise. 2 is as close to a perfect game as anything will ever be and it fueled a slow burning interest within the gaming community as word of mouth spread. Then the Smash Bros. addition exposed an even wider audience and a Steam port on the heels of Nier Automata's wildly successful release is pretty much perfect timing to indoctrinate more people.
