Adam Kokesh

Adam has mostly given up driving around the USA to build a shit powered bottle house on some wasteland he purchased. Late last year it came out that he made his ex-gf sign a contract promising massages and sex. Which is extremely ironic given that he devotes his life to sperging about 'freedom'.

That is comical at best. He's always been a bit strange, and that's in a circle that already attracts some more off people.

He's at least somewhat intelligent, regardless of how you feel about his political thoughts. You'd think he'd understand sure they have the right to make any paper work they desire but legally you can't enter into any illegal contract, I don't need to list the ways this contract would not hold up in a court of law.

I'm guessing it's his need to be an edge master at times shining through. But if she didn't follow I'd love to see the reaction he would be forced to do. It's a breech of contract, that grants him no power to do anything.

Part of me looks forward to the I beat my wife and I'm the victim your honor saga after she burns his sloppy joe.

 

Yeah he's definitely not stupid. A lot of his behavior makes me think of the Vietnam veterans who ended up as long haul truck drivers and outlaw motorbike gang members because they could not function in 'normal' society. He's got PTSD, he gets disability but he seems to only treat it with weed, instead of addressing the deeper issues.

He gets opportunities to further his political ambitions & actually change things but he seems to do something dumb every time. Just like the Libertarian party at large with the idleness & convention striptease debacle during an election when they could have done extremely well.

Contracts are not incompatible with freedom, and the idea of entering into a contract over the terms of your relationship isn't obscure considering Jews do this when they get married. I actually think the idea is cute.

That aside, Adam is pretty batshit and his expectations of others and what their expectations of him should be are unrealistic. This last girlfriend who signed the contract put out a video with her side of things. I think you have to have a few screws loose to think shacking up with Adam is a good idea in the first place.

 

I remember when this guy posted a youtube of himself cocking a shotgun in downtown DC and got charged for it. Later the cops found drugs and guns in his house and he got slapped with federal weapons charges. Dude just seems like a dumbass to me.

 

It's stuff like that, that makes me assume he's got a form of mental illness.
We've seen a few videos of where he sweet talks himself out of trouble using the law. For example he was on probation and had an ankle bracelet on but was allowed to fly. Because his history an officer was following him around. Adam became aware and politely asked the officer, why he was not following the bicycle helm law in the state. The cop knew well shit and rode away. (in the state he was in there is a helm rule and Adam had the legal code on hand)

That's rather esoteric to have handy I'd wager most police officers wouldn't know that off the top of their head. The fact he can pull weird little stunts like that showing he knows the legal system.

Then he goes off and readys a weapon in an area while you can be Open carried but not loaded then go on to commit a crime when you know OC rallies quite understandably have a close watch on them.
