6/3 Chris as his pony self

Wait a minute who did draw this?

 

God damn it I leave for one weekend and this happens.

On the plus side I might be getting a new avatar.

 

I have a theory that the reason why Chris and many other bronies are sexually attracted to characters like the ponies in MLP (and little girls like Mabel Pines) is because they come across as vulnerable and approachable, which is what they want in an actual woman. It isn't exactly a unique observation, but it does explain why the majority of porn drawn by freelance audiences in their spare time, rather than artists attempting to draw 'sexy' images based on what they think that people want to see, are of young and vulnerable women or young and vulnerable cartoon characters. This could provide an explanation for why the younger characters in Sonichu are sexualized by Chris, as well as why the 'innocent' Angelica became so sexualized in the comic without Chris really being aware of it. It also explains why the older Sonichu characters usually conform to the stereotypical ideas of 'sexy' characters when they are sexualized, like the swimsuits and big breasts.

Anyways, there is a point to this.

I think that what's happening is that Chris is mostly attracted to the characters in MLP because they come across as approachable and vulnerable, which is why he seemed a little more fixated on characters like the Cutie Mark Crusaders earlier this year (or last), and why he seems fixated more on characters like Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie over the characters like Twilight Sparkle and Applejack.

So, if he does continue with the fan art thing, chances are we'll start seeing Fluttershy sexualized, or perhaps in a romantic relationship (or at least having romantic feelings for) the pony version of himself he made.

But, we probably won't see him draw very much (or anything) related to characters like Princess Celestia, Chrysalis or Luna, simply because, while they do come across as vulnerable in the show (I sometimes think that Celestia only exists to be beaten down by villains to establish them as threatening in a very lazy manner), they are not superficially vulnerable characters or approachable characters. As opposed to Fluttershy, who is superficially vulnerable in theory but is debatably much more capable than Princess Celestia.

The point is, you probably won't have Chris post a drawing he made of Princess Celestia to use as your avatar in the near future, but I could be wrong.
