Ten Zappin' Years

Wow. 10 years of CWC... Even though he went through quite a lot of... horrifying changes, in some ways, he's still the same CWC that was found by SA in 2007. Still autistic. Still living with his mother. Still (hopefully) making Sonichu. Anyway, cheers to ten fucking years of this crazy saga!

 

Just imagine how different Christory would be if he stopped taking the bait after the first theoretical girlfriend.

 

An email exchange between Chris and Anna a decade ago (give or take a few days) went something like this:

Anna: OH MY GOD IM SO ANGRY! GO TO THE MEDIA GO TO A LAWYER SEND IN EVERYONE REEEEEEEEEEE!"
Chris: "Woah, calm down! It's probably just some bored guy, he'll stop if I don't give him any ammo. I'm concerned that I was photographed without my knowing, but I know who did it and I'll settle that offline"

Chris must have been checking the page constantly because a few days later someone posted goatse and he made his first ED account to get rid of it.

 

Imagine all of the shit Chris could have avoided in his life if he had kept at this mindset for more than a day. If he had just looked at it as "Meh, it's just a dumb troll trying to upset me, if I ignore it, they'll eventually get bored and move onto a lolcow who *does* respond".

Attention spans for trolls are fickle, they probably *would* have moved on after a few weeks of "LOLZ, LOOK AT THIS FAT GUY PLAYING POKEMON!"

 

How long has Kengle been kengling Chris for attention?

 

Ahhh absinthe the drink that seriously nearly killed me. Still got half a bottle left!

 

It really makes me wonder. If Chris had somehow avoided discovery, or reacted better to his ED page or the initial trolling attempts, how would things have turned out?
Maybe we'd have wound up with another Henry Darger situation. Thousands of Sonichu pages discovered decades from now, being shown off in museums and picked apart by experts trying to understand the inspiration behind it all.
