I like how the classic "I apologized so everything is ok" line makes another wonderful cameo. He also acknowledges he killed innocent hypnotized people several times and doesn't so much as frown.

Now this is Sonichu

 

Oh god, chris now believes in reincarnation. What happened to chris being the super fundie chrsitian?

 

Chris has believed in reincarnation since at least circa 2011. He is unaware the concept violates many of the core ideas of Christianity.

 

I knew he always believed in shamanistic things like magic and curses, but actual reincarnation somehow escaped my attention. I'm not surprised since he believes in psychic powers and hypnosis that turns your taint into a vagina.

 

I'm too drunk for bullet points ATM but I'll edit those in later, I'll just point out now the scene with Bob rejecting Christine but also having a memorial to him.
Edit: Ok, here we go.

• So we finally got what most people wanted, a break from boring SLGBT stuff to a big boring one-sided fight. This kind of fight isn't new in Sonichu so there isn't much to say, except the art style is lazier than Sonichu 9.
• The pause and rewind in the beginning is weird. Chris could've just had "meanwhile, outside." and accomplished the same thing. The top two panels are completely unnecessary. I'm chalking this up to Chris attempting a little fourth wall humor.
• Patty's attack "friendly fire protection," dissolves any tension that a good guy might get hurt. Since this doesn't happen in Sonichu ever, it's pointless.
• The sub-space cube is another example of what's always littered Sonichu, Chris has made something up without explanation, and we're all supposed to go along with it unquestioned.
• Why was Cole even here? He's not becoming a villain and doesn't appear to further the story. I'll bet some W-quarters he'll never be seen again.
• Fightings done and I already mentioned Bob, but what about Barb? She was against Chris becoming Christine too, but in the comic she just stands there. It'd be interesting to show her original disregard and eventual acceptance.
• The font changes on page 69 and it's really distracting and I don't know why.
• Jamsta and Lolisa, why do they get the last page? I don't know.

 

At no point could you seriously call Chris a fundamentalist. And even if you cited his hatred of gays as proof (which I highly doubt had anything to do with his understanding of scripture), you could say he stopped being a super fundie Christian the moment he attended service wearing a fucking unicorn costume.

 

This is his second mention of getting a psycatric (I might be using the wrong word or misread) evaluation. I wonder if he actually did that or if it's just another convenient lie to get people to stop questioning his lgbtq status

 

I bet the psychiatrist is an online quiz.

 

What a great ending to a truly riveting tale! And bonus trans story at the end. So much value.

Some other things:

• Chris claims to have always been a "female soul", whatever the fuck that means, despite not showing any signs of same until he was well into adulthood. It's just interesting to me he'll retcon his own life in the comic.
  
• Chris is keeping people he supposedly cares about alive in a tiny receptacle which is apparently fragile and easily lost. He carries this item around with him like a wandering tramp rather than securely stored somewhere despite having a whole city/kingdom guarded by vast armies he commands, armies of various creatures similarly invincible to him, at his disposal.
• So like half of the 'chus with their Deus Ex Machina type powers can resolve these conflicts en masse and effortlessly without harming anyone by casting solid barriers or mass hypnosis or whatever, but the other half are left to (in some cases) literally burn people to death. Now in a better written work, it would be established perhaps the characters have limited ability to affect certain areas perhaps so maybe it would be necessary to take such an approach, and there could be a lot of interesting ethical questions raised in universe about why some people are spared and others aren't... but fuck that this is Sonichu and it's written by an apparent sociopath.

 

Don't forget to copy, paste and repeat until a short while later.

 

I think he did, by seeing a shrink that specializes in LGBT issues. He succeeded in changing the gender marker on his driver's license, and, according to this, one of the requirements for that is having a shrink fill out a Gender Change form.

 

That shrink must have been really specailized in LGBT stuff to not notice a few other issues.

 

Not to mention the copy/paste sections. That's some vintage CWC laziness. But seeing how he holds his pencil like an arthritic Michael J. Fox (and draws like one too), I can see how his hand would get tired fast from drawing.

I like the new shit, because we get all that familiar inchanity that made the comic (and Chris's life) so interesting. However, I feel the comic is quickly becoming nothing more than Assigned Male with Sonichu recolors that have no discerning personalities. I mean, didn't he already do a bit in the comics dedicated solely to his new gender? And then do it again......and again.......and again? He should make a new transgendered character called Dead Horse.

But this shit right here though......

Is this Sonic recolor (Robee?) farting fire? @Yawning Sneasel may have been right to ask us what would happen if Chris's farts made him fly.

 

That's Zapina the loli bug type rosechu. I think that's suppose to be light that is burning away the dreaded jerkop horde.

 

I forgot Zapina was still around. I figured Chris already dropped her out of the comics just because of lost interest. Honestly, I really hope Chris was trying to draw Zapina flying through the power of her own farts.

Seriously, the only way I can distinguish the Sonichus is by their color, so it doesn't help that there are three yellow Sonichus.
