    I just rewatched a few 1000 ways to die ways of dying and I pretty much got completely tired of it by the time I watched the equivalent of an episode. The expert testimonies are the most funny part.

    1,000 Ways to Die could've been a lot of fun, if not for the over-the-top narrator and excessive camp.

    Isn't that the way of a lot of american "documentary" type shows these days?

    Here's an example. BBC vs Nat Geo


    Shows along a similar vein have always been a -tiny- bit on the campy side if it's made over here and I'm not entirely sure why. It definitely would have done better if they had gone a "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" route, with just a little bit of campy mixed with intrigue, rather than SUNDAY MONSTER TRUCK SLAMATHON.

    I have been watching more 1000 ways to die since I like the testimony from "adult industry experts" followed immediately by trauma surgeons.

    this person is credited as a "sex expert" (note that they credit academics who study sex as sexologists)
