Meta Random Thoughts and Questions

Yeah honestly if I didn't know as much as I do about the history of the two Lynchburgs, I'd probably think that the name "Lynchburg" sounds like the name of a place that'd be a satirical caricature of a racist southern city you'd see appear in an episode of South Park.

 

Obviously nobody ever wanted to actually be Chris Chan, and he was never a likeable person even in the classic era, but goddamn. This video hits me in the feels with nostalgia sometimes. I really do miss the old CWC, back when Chris was just a (mostly) harmless and fascinating idiot.

 

Honestly, what broke him is when they forced him to kill off Simonla. If that never happened we'd probably still have Classic Chris, just older and wiser... Okay, just older...

 

And I'm not the first to guess that may be the case.

 

I thought he ordered it because of the Simpsons, which had a joke where Marge ordered Long Island Iced Tea thinking it was just straight up tea with no booze in it, with the punchline being that she got fucking smashed.

 

Even AI can sound more natural than "Chris Chan" at writing.

 

Also AI sounds better at singing than Chris actually is. Then again, when Chris sings, it is more like he shouts really loudly

Chris is 42 today

 

42, and yet it seems what he sees as an ideal reality is some toon world with no sexual morals: a "hugbox" world where corporate mascot "furry" character recolors worship him unquestioningly.

I was about to make a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy joke here, but then I remembered that Chris is too lame to deserve it.

 

You know, a sad and somewhat creepy thought came over me tonight. I wonder what the state of Chris's old room at 14BC is? The iconic place where the vast majority of the classic era videos from 2007-2011 were filmed on the PSEye camera.

I can't imagine Barb has been taking care of it, in her current state at 82 years old. Is it a mostly gutted shell of it's former self? Or is it frozen in time, covered in dust and full of things Chris never took back?

I know Chris swung by his old house on one occasion post release from jail back in September to retrieve some of his stuff, but there's no way he could've taken everything he owned from his old house in one trip. I don't think he would've even been able to fit it all in his car. As far as we know, Chris didn't make any additional trips back to finish bringing all of his belongings to his new house in Lynchburg, which raises this question in the first place. Another thing that makes this an interesting question is there's no real way to answer it right now, and we probably won't get the answers for awhile.

 

After that hoard and coffee machine extension cord fire, 14BLC was renovated and the former Room of Fail was converted into a storage space for hoard, and the lolcow's room was downstairs.

 

I completely forgot about this.

Still, I can't help but wonder the same about the downstairs renovated Chris's room at 14BC. Maybe it's frozen in time as it was in 2021 before his latest arrest?

 

I wouldn't be surprised if she uses the room as even more space for her hoard. That is, if she is capable at that age to get more stuff for it.
