Ideas that Desperate Companies can Dredge for Attempted Cash Grabs

So considering that movie companies are pathetic and desperate enough for name recognition to create movies like the Emoji Movie and Angry Birds, let's figure out what other series they haven't yet cynically looted like some type of tomb that serves as the town's landfill.

If they then make said concept, then we can maybe even sue them for copyright because that's how that works right?

I for one expect a professionally done Minecraft movie thanks to the laziness of ideas that exists... Or they do Undertale because why not, it's indie and popular online. Also obligatory biopic on CWC.

I'm surprised a Battletoads movie hasn't been considered, probably because the original TV pilot failed anyway. In the same(?) vein, Bubsy's gained cult status, and the character alone is enough for some desperate company to attempt to make a movie around.

But out of morbid curiosity, I want to see someone try to come up with a movie-length origin story for the Keebler elves:

 

Is it horrible that I could easily see a Sims Movie and maybe a Battletoads one too? I'm only reluctant on vidya movies because they tend to perform like shit in theaters. The Iphone movie would probably be some dumb idea like that slasher movie that involves skype.

And speaking of obvious and horrid ideas, an LP movie, since they made a few TV episodes about them now too.

 

The Minecraft one is more realistic since it's a million dollar franchise and is owned by Microsoft. If an Undertale movie ever came out, it would only happen two decades from now, because that's how the nostalgia clock works. It's popular but not Angry Birds popular.

A Sims movie has potential to be deep and philosophical, like the Truman Show. There are actual scientific theories that we might be living in a simulation ourselves. Naturally, they'd Adam Sandler it up as much as possible.

No, even worse, a reality TV show about an LPer. That would be the worst of both worlds, unless that's what you meant when you said they had a TV show dedicated to it.

 

I'd actually watch a Sims movie if the story were this.

Oh yeah, definitely going to see a shit ton of Marvel and maybe, just maybe DC hero films. If we're super lucky/unlucky, we may even see some IDW or Dark Horse love again.

 

I want Stardust the Super Wizard to have a movie because it would probably be the most jarring superhero movie ever made

 

if Nintendo weren't watching their properties like a hawk, i'd expect a legend of Zelda or Metroid movie.
