Batman: The Animated Series

I think that's part of the Dini problem. A lot of criminals are rich and ruthless; to Dini, the only thing that makes Penguin any different is that he has a big nose. The Penguin is a guy who is able to manipulate Batman into unintentionally committing his crimes for him. And he likes to kill people with birds. I don't know why he was reinvented as a very conventional mob boss. Is it really too much of a stretch that there's an eccentric criminal that likes to use ravens to poke out his enemies' eyes, when there's literally a cyborg with a freeze gun in the same setting?

That said, Arkham Penguin still managed be kind of funny and thus entertaining, which is way more than can be said for poor, poor Black Mask.

I've been seeing some panels from the comic based on the show on imgur and they look really good. I may have to hunt down the issues or download them, as is popular these days.
