I think they do. If they end at 30, that's good enough. They've had a good run.

 

Had the show ended before 2010, it could've ended being at least mostly good.

The show really is getting worse.

 

As it stands, it wasted a good quarter century of our lives!

True, though some I've talked with thought maybe they'll just re-use tracks anyway since they do have a back catalog of music to comb from, but who knows what they'll do.

For a show that was such a big part of my childhood and my family growing up, I can't even remember the last time I watched The Simpsons. Not that I don't want to, but there are more terrible episodes than good ones and it makes it hard to watch reruns.

 

I just ignore the new episodes and think of the good Simpsons like a show that's already done, like I Love Lucy or the original Star Trek.

 

It was nice being 12 when it started!
