FB 2/7 - Chris mourns Bob

I bet he's glad to be away from those two.

 

Chris and the "Lumberjack" had a very rough relationship. This is another "True and Honest" statement by the Mayor-Father of Cwcville.

 

Chris Posts Robert Franklin Chandler Jr. Aka Mr.C. Its almost as if hes bad at following directions.

In Seriousness though I think Chris really does miss Bob. Even if only from the practical standpoint of having him alive.

 

If Chris knew Bob's SSN he'd post that too in an autistic effort to be TRUE and HONEST

 

I have a feeling that if this were a thread on the Farms, we'd have three pages of posts questioning if Chris really misses his father. "If Chris really loved his father, he would have paid enough attention to only post his first name as requested!"

 

Is Chris getting better?

Back when Bob was alive, Chris would complain that Bob was "starting more arguments than flies on a garbage dump" and that he "threw the damned 'fag' card" at Chris.

 

In honor of Bob, the Internet Lumberjack. He's cutting down the internet with the angels now.

 

Sad that it was only after Bobs death, that Chris realised how much he needed him.

 

It didn't help that Chris was "convinced by the Grim Reaper in a dream" that Bob wouldn't pass away until 2015, instead of 2011.

 

2015 is such an odd date too, maybe Grim had been watching Back to the Future 2?

 

Just as there are warrior angels, who fight the forces of hell with flaming swords; Bob has become an lumberjack angel, who cuts down the internet of hell with his flaming axe.

 

I feel bad for Bob. Yeah, he was a shitty parent, but unlike Barb, he actually at least tried to be a good dad to Chris, but was too old and inept to actually pull it off, and combined with both Barb's bad influence and Chris being a complete moron, as well as some of Bob's own flaws, Chris became the fuckup he is today.

A lot of people think of Bob as this hard-ass redneck when to me he seemed to be more of a foolish and inept feeble old man who did his best, but his best was far from enough. Bob always seemed to be more like Grandpa Simpson and less like Cotton Hill, at least in my eyes.

His past relationship with his other kids aside, he seemed to get better in his later years, but by then, Barb and Chris were in the picture and made things worse. For the record, while Cole may hate him (and we all know what kind of person Cole is), but we know next to nothing about his other two biological kids other than that they are somewhat estranged (and that may not be because of Bob, sometimes family members become estranged through no fault of their own. Things such as distance or work can often play a role in this), and one of them did manage to make it to his funeral, so there is that.

Bob was no saint and he was an extremely flawed man, but he did not deserve to go out the way he did or be shackled with a horrible son and an even more horrible wife in the final years of his life. If I were Bob, I would have just left and abandoned Chris and Barb once the trolling began (and that's at the absolute latest), as harsh as that may sound. Between the hoard, the hateful hoarder wife, and the completely idiotic son, I couldn't take it. Bob must have had the patience of a saint. I don't know how he could put up with those things in his life.
