7/9 - Sonichu 12, pages 4-14

We should, but chris always finds a way to shock/dissappoint.

 

I think that Chris is making the kids grow up too fast. Punchy was a baby for hours, Sandy evolved almost immediately, Bananasaur evolved pretty much instantly. It's like Chris just wants them to be adults ASAP. The longest anyone was a baby were the Sonichu kids, ranging 2-3 years. Probably loves them the most.

Who wants to bet that Chris will say that Roberta is 18 in Sonichu years?

 

10 cred says he does. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if he did say they were 18, but I do find it disconcerting that he's making them grow up that fast. It's also very strange considering how long it's taking Chris.

 

Thing is the Simonla and Zapina kinda evolved into children rosechus so its not like he has the excuse that sonichus just instantly become adults when they evolve.

 

I can honestly buy into that a little bit. Just because teenagers might be as physically mature as they're ever gonna be doesn't mean they're mentally capable in any way. Same thing here, just with an inconsistent change in body structure upon evolution.

 

I feel like a lot of this comes out of playing Pokemon and how most would rather evolve their baby pokemon as soon as possible instead of just leveling them up!
