Meta What If?

I've heard of people who learned to do it and then thought they were legitimately "Astral Projecting", when no they were dreaming.

I kinda know how to do it, but not really.
Like I have the dream recall and the ability to do dream checks, but I can't really "grok it" like my friend can

Just recently found out that Nintendo of America held a contest where contestants had to perform their own take on the DK Rap back in 1999. I'm just imagining Chris entering this, creating a video on par with his Parappa one, and losing gracelessly and getting BLANGRY when somebody with talent wins instead.
(And hey, one of the prizes was a trip to Nintendo of America's headquarters in Redmond, Washington, so he probably could have seen this as an opportunity to sell his Sonichu game ideas to them, if he was aware of such a contest in the first place.)

 

I feel like teen Chris was a lot more sane, though. Even if I wouldn't call him normal either, especially with his home life. I've noticed he was usually less animated with his anger too, with what you can see of him getting mad about getting an F on a school assignment in that home video from 1998 when he was 16.

It was his early 20s when Chris really started to go off the rails, and the Chris we came to know in his mid to late 20s during the classic era started taking shape.

 

And possibly get into current "brainrot" memes like that toilet thing.

While he was in high school, he was living with a dad who was old enough to be a grandpa, while far from home, all to get away from special ed. Totally not unusual at all.

 

Gen Z is weirdly enough pretty similar to Chris in a lot of ways, just less depressing about it. Between all the non-binary shenanignas, OCs, and "random access humor" (brainrot memes) it'd be easy for Chris to blend in..... I bet Gen Z Chris would randomly put Hazbin Hotel knock-off characters into his version of Sonichu.
