I started re-reading Gentleman's Alliance Cross because I miss when there was a shit-ton of shojo on the market.

I remember reading this TOS Star Trek manga in the library last decade. In it, this giant humanoid-shaped mecha flips off the Enterprise, and this alien onboard the Enterprise didn't understand the gesture. The guy thought it meant "one", and he was all "one what?", while the Earthlings weren't too happy at said gesture.

I find myself following some random rom-com mangas (all of them have their own anime adaptations too), please send help.

Well I don't have time to watch anime nowadays, so being able to read one new chapter of a manga which takes like 10 minutes or less is good enough for me.

In this case, the manga is so much better. I mean, it's already finished while the anime still has only one season since it first aired back in '18.

Phoenix by tezuka, I remember reading it and loving it's art. Gonna revisit it as soon as possible. Also should read Black Jack.

    hey @Anya

    Ever read Urusei Yatsura?

Back in the '90s some of the manga were translated and the art mirrored by Viz in "The Return of Lum" series.

Found Urusei Yatsura manga at the library that I read back in 2001 or 2002.

One story is about a tiny "god of knowledge" who emerges from a shrine charm Ataru has with him while taking an exam. This "god of knowledge" somehow doesn't know English or much else.

there were a few that i was reding on mangadex before they gutted it of nearly everything. so i consider most of those on hold. i did join the k manga thing (kodansha's app) and i can read free using the ticket system so i've been pretty focused on Gachiakuta on there for my manga reading. and i bought the first few volumes recently too because i enjoyed it just that much.

They do also have like, all of the Initial D ones inclluding the sequels/spinoffs so thats on the to do list too. I only ever played the Initial D games honestly.
